But what we do not like so much is that feeling of exhaustion, difficulty sleeping and drowsiness that appears with the change of season. It has been called spring asthenia and although some endeavor to qualify as a disease, is actually a natural response of the body to adapt to daylight hours.

The main cause of the spring asthenia is the adaptation of our biorhythm as many daylight hours. During the winter, our body is accustomed to secrete melatonin, the hormone that triggers sleep earlier because darkens before.
